2 Definition of the theory of the four seasons' five zang organs and yin-yang: Attributes for the five-zang organs: Neijing explained the qi of the four seasons' five zang organs and the position of five zang organs by applying the theory of Tai-shao of yin-yang from Zhouyi. Zang was thought as taking yin- character and fu for yang-character. Five elements were related with five zang organs with the difference of the Chinese script before the Qin Dynasty and the modern script, the former uesed in Guanzi, Lvshi Chunqiu, and Liji, there being the trace of the latter in Shiji, both could be found in Huainanzi. The former also applied in the Method of Therapy against Disease with Yin-Yang and the Biography of Canggong of Shiji. The latter being current in the Western Dynasty,so Neijing also applied.
The functional system for five zang organs: More chaos in Guanzi, two different views shown in Huainanzi for the attachment of five-zang organs and orifices, the difference could also }be found in Neijing. Viscera had been related with orifices, parts of body, emotion, sound etc., and the conception of wholism of the human body could be found in which five zang organs were regarded as the central role in human body.
